I'm fairly certain you're being facetious, but it does beg the question... What are frequent flyers supposed to do when they know what the general service standards and flow are, and they observe an FA deliberately avoiding work and not doing their jobs properly?

.
While the service on my last AA flight was flawless, I have been experiencing a lot of this nonsense as well... particularly on shorter segments. My solution has been to shift my business over to UA. So far so good and I have reached Gold this year and pretty happy with Star Alliance.

Flying out of Phoenix, I've become dissatisfied with AA's shrinking Asia options, as well as the constant need to connect in LHR going the other direction. Latin America used to be a strong point, but it seems like they can't make MIA connections work anymore, and even the DFW ones are starting to involve either extremely tight connections, or extremely long ones. Throw in the nice United Club and the pleasure of using PHX term 3 instead of 4, and UA is becoming a pretty strong option for me. On the other hand, we won't talk about connecting in IAH or EWR....
