CA made a semi-big deal by announcing it was releasing a lot of award inventory on high demand routes about five days ago, including during peak travel periods. I assume they spread some of the love to partner airlines' FFPs.
I'm a bit confused by UA's pricing (e.g. 53.1k clearly isn't tied to revenue, and back when they published award charts, the numbers were much more straightforward...35k for Y, 45k for J, and 60k for F, which included xxx-PEK on the front end and IAD-yyy on the backend, if desired).
