Quick question on early booking of award flights. There is no downside to booking as early as possible (understanding there will be several schedule changes along the way) as I can cancel and rebook with no issues if I find a better deal as we get closer? I'm a planner and would like to have the flight booked as early as possible, but obviously want to use as few points as possible.

I guess what I'm asking is if I book a flight now for next October for 24k miles and I see the next day it's 20k miles I can cancel and rebook with no issues and can continue to do that as many times as I need?
