any restaurant recommendations. Good food more important than atmosphere. Need not be fancy, just delicious food.
They have changed chefs earlier this year and I personally would not recommend it anymore. You can see it reflected in the recent reviews as well.

For fish I like Golden Hook, Fishop, StillFish, and Johan.

Lift is an upper end steakhouse with West Europe pricing. I like going to Pagus more and it's like 1/3rd the price.

Pizza I like Grande Roma, Oxhaket, or if you want a slice with a scoop of Ice Cream, Laguna. Proper Pizza is also a popular chain and is even opening up some US locations now.

An amazing tasting experience I would say Crown Restaurant on top of the Crown Hotel. 10 course tasing menu for 5500LEK (~$50)

Other random ones include Artigiano for Italian, FreshGarden for just solid all around mediterranean/"healthier" type of food. Era is a popular place for traditional-ish. Ujvara is sort of upper end but fantastic. If you wanna stuff your face full of cheap grilled meats and hearty traditional food with cold beer, Zgara Supreme (and Zgara Supreme 2) are perfect for that.

If you're willing to venture outside the city 20-30min theres 2 right near each other that are fantastic and special in their own way.

Fustanella Farm is a farm to table restaurant that changes menu constantly and the owners are so kind and sweet. The food is so fresh and dependent on what is in harvest and what was fresh that day. Leaning traditional but not just Albania but other nearby regions, the food is out of this world good. Honestly one of the best meals I've had in my life period.

On the way to Fustanella Farm you're gonna pass by what essentially is a castle, that is Iluminatum Residence. Iluminatum is considered more traditional "village" like food but in a setting like a castle with a sprawling indoor and outdoor space it takes it to a level that is way better than village. The food is hearty and so full of flavor, you'll be in a food coma before you know it.

Tirana is full of amazing food and I've barely gone wrong just randomly picking places.

I'll post some pictures later
