My understanding is that there isn't a requirement to do this, so I don't think this is on the agenda at the moment. As you probably know there are some limited provisions to take liquids through staff areas - that may be improved since the regulatory landscape changes by July 2024. It would not surprise me if some old ATiX machines are stored for repairing (etc) the staff search zones but in the fullness of time these scanners will become obsolete and more to the point the software will not be updated.
