Are there any difficulties or complications to be expected when retroactively trying to claim individual QR segments (from a 'special discount' fare) in a non-chronologial order of segments flown?

I'm in a similar situation as Mirka04 and I believe I should also try not to let status points go to waste once I reach silver and try to claim individual segments in a way that I would reach 300 Status Points for Silver but not more.
Then claim the remaining boarding passes later.
There would be a bunch of SP hitting my account unless I take out the CX FF number from the QR PNR and retro-claim individual segments.

Starting balance 150 Status Points

The following flights are coming up in chronological order:

MH - PNR AAAA - segment 01 +15
MH - PNR AAAA - segment 02 +15

QR - PNR BBBB - segment 01 +45
QR - PNR BBBB - segment 02 +60
QR - PNR BBBB - segment 03 +60
QR - PNR BBBB - segment 04 +45

MH - PNR AAAA - segment 03 +15
MH - PNR AAAA - segment 04 +15

Now my idea would be:

Leave CX FF number in the MH - PNR AAAA, by the end of these flights I'd be at 210 SP.

If I would then submit a retro-claim for:
QR - PNR BBBB - segment 01 +45
QR - PNR BBBB - segment 04 +45

The +90 SP would get me to exactly 300, give me Silver, reset my balance.

Then I would submit a retro-claim for:
QR - PNR BBBB - segment 02 +60
QR - PNR BBBB - segment 03 +60

Giving me 120 SP in the new membership year.

Would that work?
