Anyone who has actually stayed at the regular Alila Seminyak who can provide thoughts and opinions on it? Seems like a real shortage of reviews and info on the property itself. Trying to decide if I want to change from the HR next year to this or maybe the Andaz (Seminyak +60USD a night, Andaz +100) but there is little info on this place and why it may or may not be justified was a cat5.
There are not a lot of posts on flyertalks but quite a few reviews on blogs. I'm staying here now on a rate of $165/USD per night which is a better value than points. Advantages are location if you want to be in the heart of Seminyak and excellent ocean views from the restaurant/bar, pools, and some rooms. I used a SUA to upgrade to Ocean View Suite on the ground floor like the one in

At least from my room I can't hear any noise from the next door Potato Head complex. I think F&B here is solid although more limited options than some other resorts where guests are more likely to spend the entire time on property.
