I haven't stayed at the FS (although my parents have) in Vegas so I can't compare. I stay at the Bellagio because they comp my room and food/beverages.

The view I had was facing down the strip. Got a corner suite looking towards Mandalay Bay. View was okay that way. I liked it because the other side looked out to the mountains which was nice to not see the strip for a while.
