South Korea is (in)famous for hiring exceedingly attractive young women to be flight attendants. To the point where plastic surgeons in Seoul offer "flight attendant packages" to fix whatever needs fixing in order to maximize a girl's chance of being hired. And most of these girls (many of whom are looking for a rich husband, not a career) are out of the industry by age 30.
Consequently, the service you get on Korean Air can either be really good, or really really bad. People who do the job to make money and find a husband aren't ever going to be excellent flight attendants.
