The working assumption is that you don’t have enough time to dry your wet clothes. Yes, you put anything wet into the sack, seal it up and only keep the wet things in there for the bare minimum of time. Yes, you can put it into the hold. Yes, they might get smelly.

You are talking about packing cubes here. Everyone uses packing cubes in their own way. There are lots of videos on YouTube on this, from hints and hacks to explicit explanations.

Just enter “how to use packing cubes” into YouTube as a search term and take your pick of the results.

Search “Marie Kondo folding” if you need advice on how to put your clothes in the cubes.
