We did not use a service. You need to closely read your home country's pet immigration rules. Once the pet immigration paperwork is in order you book a reservation for the pet with the airline. They will not treat the carrier as checked luggage, as the pet requires special attention and a special spot in the hold. You will pay a fee for the pet. This is based on our experience bringing a pet from USA to France via Air France. Then of course nobody in France cared about the vet paperwork, but it was reviewed upon entry to England via the Chunnel.
