It was only my 2nd experience with courtyard brand (1st one was at courtyard Brussels Europe many years ago) and 1st time at this hotel.

check-in was pretty standard but felt cold. No welcome drink offered. All agents seemed to be busy with themselves (no other guests around). Chose breakfast as platinum amenity. Was offered nothing else. Had to ask for 4 pm late check-out though I didn’t use it anyway.

also no upgrade offered (better rooms were available to book, they did say ‘sorry’ though). The room itselt was okay, not spacious but comfortable enough with the usual amenities for a courtyard (i guess). No view to speak of though. Soundproofing was also pretty bad. Anyway they deserve some credit as they setup some extra amenities in the room per my request.

Gym, pool and kids club are located on the rooftop floor, gym is pretty small but seems to be adequate. Pool is quite big and long enough to do lap swim.

Did’t try any dining outlets except ‘Cafe22’ where breakfast buffet is served. The buffet itself was nothing fancy but good enough to me. Service was also pretty good too.

The biggest drawback for me is location. I won’t be here without a car. Felt isolated and far from everything. No other worthwhile benefits.

overall it was ok but still, I won’t return.
Thanks for the info. We are going to Pattaya for the first time ever this Saturday from Bangkok for the night and I was toying with the idea of staying here because it's the Marriott hotel there. You've definitely knocked that idea on the head though and we will stay somewhere nearer the walking street as that's really why we are going just to witness it once in our lives.
