BA is responsible for handling the delayed luggage. Interlining luggage often misconnects and you are entitled to assistance including deliverying to your residence but not additional compensation.

You may qualify for the compensation because your flight was canceled, however you dont know why it was canceled. If it was outside the airlines control (act of God) you may not get compensation. Need to find out why the DL flight was canceled and check with DL.
