Now as a plat pro, I am guaranteed a #12-15 spot on the upgrade list for every single flight without fail and have not received 1 upgrade for the 2 years I've been PP.

AA's race to mimic some of the terrible policies brought over by Doug Parker and his gang from US Airways has ruined American in my opinion. One of the only reasons to play the elite game is upgrades. You take that away and I can get free bags, early boarding, streaming entertainment and an exit row seat on Southwest. It's a shame.
