So all this was done on one PNR. Long story short, bag checked through at MAN to MEX. Leg 1, BA, is delayed and we scrape the connection to MAD. Bag never makes to MAD and therefore to MEX.

I am there for 6 full days with no bag. Buy essentials which as it happens it a fair amount of clothes. Looking at maybe £250 all in all, with toiletries and other such like.

Claim goes in to BA 3 months ago, receipts and all. They are refusing to pay up (responding after 3 months), saying the bag made it to LHR but IB refused it. Of course they did, the plane was ready to leave and the delay was on BA.

Granted, it eventually made it to Madrid (per my tracker) but for some reason sat there for 6 days.

BA tell me AM need to pay up. I know I have no chance with AM, it's a US number, I don't even want to go there.

Are BA right here or should they take responsibility? I continue to persue but they're fairly adamant.

Advice much apprieciated!
you should be dealing with AM as that was your last flight.
