Is there anything I should know about using the Ink Visa in restaurants, shops, museums, small hotels, etc? I'm going to try to setup a pin; if anyone knows whether that's possible with Chase, please let me know. But assuming no pin, is it "swipe and print", "tap and print", or...?
I am not sure loading 2 cards on 1 phone is even possible, but practically it won’t work too well. So after your companion wipe his or her phone and then pass the phone to u after he or she thru the gate, then u need to go to the wallet and use another card for yourself? am not sure that’s a good idea.
Chase card, and Infact 99.9% of US cards, are not ‘chip & pin’ enabled. The pin they give you will only work at ATM for cash advance which btw won’t count toward min spent for your card. You won’t be able to use pin to authorize transaction. Also, contactless Visa ‘pay wave’ doesn’t work in a lot of places in Japan as they have a homegrown contactless system which used a different frequency. Chances are you just have to do it the old fashion way by wiping the card at the machine and with a signature.
