ANA is the same - The Room likely wouldn't fit on the 787 without significant changes to the seat. UA's seat, which is also LY's seat, is able to fit on multiple aircraft widths. UA's possible design for the XLR is very dense in a herringbone configuration. UA's XLR's will definitely be more premium then AC's (UA's aircraft are going to have PY) and I would think AC is going to select something that is pretty dense.
Runway Girl posted the following which gives some insight into the evolution of the Super Diamond and Elements seats:

The Elements seat was selected by Starlux for their J cabin and it is a pretty nice update to the Super Diamond.
The challenge is always having a level of product consistency across the fleet. QR has many different seat types which is somewhat unappealing when booking as you may be surprised by a product that doesn't hold up against the Q suite.
I'd wager that AC looks to Rockwell Collins for an update to the present seat that hopefully includes wireless charging and some modifications that change the position of the table (as some posters have referenced). It will inevitably have a door (I would think). It would certainly be nice if they asked some of the SE's to come and try out the new products, but that seems unlikely (though AC has done that is the past).
Etihad announced the Elements seat in their new 789’s. They seem to be able to fit 32 between doors 1 and 2, though the lav configuration is different. I would think there’s a good chance this is AC’s next wide body J seat based on consistency with the present product and an ability to get two additional seats into the centre section. Curious if they could get 32 in between doors 1 and 2 on the 777 fleet?
