Condor and Emirates have announced an interlining agreement today!
Condor had already announced Berlin-Dubai flights, this could be the solution for the Emirates-Berlin situation.

Condor wants to fly BER-DXB, five times a week, and base two aircraft at BER.
However, the start of this has been postponed due to capacity bottlenecks.
I can imagine that they will soon be flying double-daily BER-DXB with A330neo.
