Flexible is usually priced in a non-attractive way. The somewhat flexible fares that allow you changes without a change fee will still charge you a fare difference, if you book now for February that will probably be a lot. If you go for the fully flexible fare, that is near the price of a full fare ticket and is roughly the same as paying a walk up fare on the day.

In February I would do this itinerary with plenty of contingency.
