Until ET escalates. Not a lawyer, but presumably if they think they are owed money, they can take action, including going to collections. Have no idea if they would, but definitely possible
id honestly try to clear up, as you have the documentation. Maybe try and get UA and ET on the phone to clear it up?
On the other hand, curious even to how the OP was able to checkin/board. It seems like the payment wasn’t attached, meaning the coupon shouldn’t be valid. Usually, check in wouldn’t be allowed and/or you’d be stopped from boarding if that was the case until the issue was cleared up. I’m trying to think if there’s some sort of situation where it might have been valid at check in/boarding time, but in reconciliation after the fact, somehow the payment attached was dropped.
