If yes, what you need to tell NZ is that they need to re-ticket it as the flight is not cancelled.
Confirming that when I enter in LX's reference number into LX's website, it says there is no flight in the booking The flight time has changed just slightly, leaving around an hour earlier so I honestly cannot understand why LX just didn't move us to this new flight...
