Star Alliance Award Booking Cancelled by Airline (my options)
Hi Guys,
I booked a partner Star Alliance flight (on Air NZ using Airpoints) on Swiss Airlines (which was confirmed). Air NZ have just emailed me advising that Swiss changed the schedule of the flight and the changed scheduled flight has no award seat availability and there is no other award seats available that day.
They've told me they will have to refund my Airpoints or I will have to choose a day where there is availability. The other dates don't work for me.
What are my options..? The cash fares for those dates are now pretty expensive... Can Air NZ/Swiss just do this...? I'm pretty frustrated.
