Thank you!

The flight felt like one of the longest ever.

11/12.AA1600. Scheduled for ~1pm. Delayed, a couple hours on the tarmac, back to the gate with a lengthy bus ride.

Non-communitive ground staff. Wouldnt even announce or reply if new boarding passes would be need ( tried to ask but they ignored any well meant inputs unless it was your turn inline). Many people waiting in line for nothing. They offered a food voucher but asked people to wait in a 2 hour line to get one (same line as those getting new connecting flights). I left and paid for my own meal. Some people waited and received a $12 voucher that restaurants stated could only be used for something below $12 (they said AA was different than other airlines in SJO and did not let passengers pay the difference for more expensive entrees).

When reboarding at 9+ pm the plane still had issues transmitting mechanic logs to dallas (the pilot said this was a recent change from paper logs). Spent another hour on the tarmac. Pilot said anyone who is unhappy to feel free to get your bags and leave - i have never heard a pilot have the tone and statements like this one did). Some people on the plane were getting a little loud saying my bags are checked how do you expect us to do that. At that point I thought they could force everyone to depkane as people were getting very frustrated and somewhat loud with the treatment through the day.

Oh, the long delay seemed due to the crew timing out.

They said there would be hotel vouchers but given the 2 hour line to even get meal vouchers i gave up. I called the platinum line pleading for a hotel voucher in MIA now so i could avoid the line on arrival. No luck. I gave up and booked my own room at the terminal E hotel to get 3 hours sleep. Very polite agents were waiting with vouchers at MIA but many people were turning them down due to being off airport with people left to their own to get there and the likely long lines checking in. The flight got in at 2:15am and many people had 7am to 9am connections. Many with multiple addition legs to go since most direct flights were full. An off airport hotel would only allow a 1 to 2 hour nap for many people.

Ive never seen customers treated so poorly in my 40 years of flying.

Not even an appology during the pilots or crew announcements during landing.
