Non stop business class is better than economy. Few would even ask.

Going via a QF connection flight (SYD MEL) that would increase the total travel time. Connecting D-I at SYD is not recommended if you have better options
(and you do).
xxx-WLG would be on a B737 2-2 business seating - not lie flat seats.

A short flight. Would choose on schedule and all up price. Not the add ons with JQ. In general carry on in AU is far less than what is normal - common in USA,
for all AU airlines.
You will not get OW status benefits on Jetstar
Thanks. Baggage allowance would come into play so good to know.
in Europe, business class is the same seat. I could care less about a snack. So reliability could lead me to choose coach on one airline over business on another if the reputation is bad enough.
Thought I had seen avoid jet star at all costs somewhere in this forum. Glad Alliance doesn’t have that reputation, makes it easy.
Sounds like if price was equal you would choose Jetstar if the schedule was better on a short flight.
