First time staying at a RI and pleasantly surprised

I didn't know what to expect staying at a residence inn and I am absolutely surprised how good this residence inn was in Merida, Yucatan.

Stayed here for about a week last end of October as my base visiting numerous Mayan Civilizations around Yucatan.

Check-in was efficient and good a great deal of 59$ per night BRG rate. Breakfast is included for all guests.

The room I stayed at was in very good condition and very clean. Much better than a lot of Marriotts and Sheratons, etc. out there.

The kitchen area had a dishwasher, full size refrigerator, microwave, etc. Also got some snacks from management and a hand written note.

Breakfast is at the lobby cafe. Nothing really tasty. Just eggs and more eggs and molé.

All the staffs here are amazing and eager to help with anything from transportation to airport, laundry, etc.
The property is also across the street from a fairly decent mall and 10-15 min walk to their national museum in Yucatan (it is safe to walk here).

Yucatan is such an exotic and magical place and a must see for those who are interested in ancient civilization and culture.

Staying at the Residence Inn Merida, Yucatan was an excellent choice for my monthly vacation and a great way to end my trip to Mexico before I head to my 106th Country to visit in November, Curaçao 🇨🇼🇨🇼🇨🇼
