I haven’t looked into myself, so hopefully someone else can chime in, but on a flight a while back they pitched you could get the SUB off the new card if you’re a old/current version holder as long as it’s been 24 months since you’re gotten it (the same time frame for churning the old card) as BoA considered them different products/cards.
The FAs have IMO often pitched an additional card for people who already have one. I have no idea if that works or not.
The current e terms for the 60k offer include this language: “
This card may not be available to you if you currently have or have had the card in the preceding 24 month period.”
So it’s vague. And the way I read it, if the card is (made) available to you despite having the card already, you should get the signup bonus.
