Hello, I'm trying to see if it is possible to use Chase UR points for a trip from New York to Taiwan around Christmas. I know this is short notice and I don't need to make the trip but I'd like to. I used to consider myself very knowledgeable on award travel but post covid it seems very different. Award travel is either missing or not visible on many online tools and I don't understand where I should be looking. ANA looks like the best bet but I have heard that you need to look for award travel about a year in advance? I don't plan anything a year in advance so I guess I just may never travel to Taiwan. Any avenues that I'm missing? I have seen UA availability in business class for 300k miles...
