Looking to jump ship from Terminal 5 to Terminal 3 but a little confused by a couple of things with VS, and have tried searching the forum but can't find an answer, so if anyone could help me out I would be grateful.

Currently I have some miles sitting in my account from a few years ago, but 0 tier points. I am trying to understand when my tier year would start/end? I have been a member since 22 February 2019 so would 22 February be my start/end tier point collection date each year? Or does it work differently. And how does the year then work after upgrading from Red to Silver? With BA it would be as follows:

Tier point year starts 09 February 2023
Reach silver status 18 October 2023
I am silver until 08 February 2025 (actually 31 March but for easy of tier point year let's say 08 February)
I need to renew my silver status between 09 February 2024 and 08 February 2025

Would it work the same way with VS?

Any guidance or link to a post with en explanation would be greatly appreciated.
