The thing I find sad about this is the number of A320’s which were sent to scrap with much newer seats still in situ, seats which could have been removed and used to bring these aircraft up to the same standard as the rest of the Airbus fleet. Corporate waste at its finest.
The problem is that the beancounters at BA rarely see the inside of an a/c… they only see the inside of a spreadsheet.
