New rooms ( plus suites) progressively opening incld a club floor - but I won’t be rushing to try them out.
Location has never been my favourite for convenience ( I like Sheung Wan / Causeway bay ) so one needs to plan well. But it’s not beyond redemption - the views of the HK skyline compensates.
One of Rosewood biggest problem is the use of the elevators ( the confronting rows of elevators one faxes ) for both room and outside guests which can be frustrating and a security concern. Stayed at Rosewood in 2019 but not since and have no plans to. But I try to go to their incredible bar with live music on every visit. It really is superb.
Yes , you nailed it bearbrick , as
chinmoylad has mentioned about location too , service seems an issue the world over .. new inexperienced staff even in MOHK saved by a few seasoned team members . Thankfully , TUH seems to be coping despite staffing issues too .
Visitors who know and appreciate the history of HK , Kowloon and the New Territories will appreciate the view from HK Island , others well , just see what they see and as those who live there or frequent often enough , know all views are to be enjoyed
