If TK does not see the e-ticket number in its Troy system you will not be able to travel. If the e-ticket really exists a smart agent will know how to attach it to the Troy PNR. But most agents will not know/care and will send you to AV to clarify. I would call TK again, reconfirm they do not indeed see the ticket. Then I would call AV to ask them to work with TK to have the ticket attached to the TK PNR. Do not leave for the last minute.
Ohhh BTW as this is a ticket from the US - TK requires full Secure Flight info - not only DOB. TK will reject any ticket without full data like passport number, expiry date etc. So your ticket might hang somewhere after being rejected by TK.
