If your kid likes using her body to play, I HIGHLY recommend a day at Showa Kinen Koen. A bit of a journey to the suburbs to reach there, but it’s commuter distance “against the flow”. The tulips will be magnificent for your days and there are several large playgrounds with a wide range of equipment as well as a delightful Japanese garden and a wonderful bonsai collection. You can rent bicycles there too (the park is enormous). My daughter is 14 now but our yearly visits to Tokyo always included a day here (sometimes two) and, throughout every stage of her childhood, those days were always highlights amongst the many wonderful experiences we’ve had in Japan.
Great suggestions - thank you.

Nara has the deer. How about some place with wild monkeys?
Anpanman museum perhaps?
Too young for Ghibuli park?

Good question -> our 5 year old is (surprisingly) well behaved and she can stay quiote long at the table even later in the evening.

Let me rephrase this question then -> what are the places you would recommend to go for a traditional meal during the day / in the evening ($$$ is fine) with a stunning view and experience? If possible not a usual tourist space? Mainly Tokyo and Osaka?

Love it, thank you. However I think it was little irresponsible of you to call it "Tribecha" (well done btw) -> it should have an official name of "Promised Land"!!!!

On a separate note - how would you advise to get to Kawaguchi lake (Taiwanese firends of my wife love that area)? We will be coming from Osaka and thinking about spending last two nights 13->14->15 April in there. Do you think that's a good idea just to "feel the vibe" or shall we cut it to one day?

Thank you / Arigato
