Question: if you had to go through 'normal' immigration afterward, did you still require the arrival card they give out on the plane, and if yes, what did you write there for purpose of visit?
We filled them out and just ticked ‘Transit’, but we did not end up giving them to anyone so went unused
When the TWOV officer asked what we were doing in China, we just said ‘Visiting’ and kept it vague
