When they merged, AF had Fréquence Plus while KL has Flying Dutchman (hence the 2 sub-forums of Flying Blue). I guess airline FFPs are still named/coded after the airline so while AF, KL and until recently KQ shared one FFP, it still requires the respective airline's name.
