The problem with this attempt to overcome Marriott's extensive historic information technology (IT) weaknesses, is that it is far too generous or lenient in creating life-time Titanium (LTT) members out of life-time Platinum (LTP) members.

My spouse, who is currently working toward LTP, would merely need to add five more years of Platinum status to become LTT.

We could thus have LTT guests who had never had a single year as a Marriott BONV°Y Titanium Elite.

The only realistic temporal criteria for LTT is years as Titanium Elite, starting in whatever year Marriott chooses to designate (based on available IT data).
