Here's a recap of what we know so far:
* it will be 1-2-1 (something previously hinted at, speculated and indicated by EK, now confirmed)
* it will be retrofitted to 53 x 777-300ERs beginning mid-2024, with those jets also being modified to include premium economy (which will come at the expense of several rows of economy)
* the new 777 business class seat is
likely to be the same as that of A350 and perhaps also 777X seat
* but no indication of it it'll have doors or not – although in this day you'd expect it would have, and especially as neighbours & rivals Etihad and Qatar Airways have doored business class, let along so many other top-tier international airlines (and you can bet newcomer Riyadh Air will also go down the doored path)
