I spent the required $25K on my Delta Amex Platinum card in March 2023, locking in Platinum Medallion status for 2024. Last month, after Delta announced the new Medallion rules for 2024, I reduced my Amex card to a Gold card as MQD waiver will no longer apply. Now I see on Delta's website that the MQD waiver tracker has reset to zero for me for this year. Yet it still shows on top that my 2024 status is Platinum even though it shows I have spent zero for the waiver.

Has anybody else experienced this? I just chatted online with Delta and was assured that my 2024 status will be Platinum. I'm not sure what to believe and won't really know until January 1.
