Agreed- and I just found the benefits of taking a 1-month plus "vacation" from e-Rewards. I was in E. Europe for a month and had encountered this issue on an earlier trip to Central America- got rejected from many surveys because I wasn't in my home country. So, I never used the site during my trip but also hadn't filled out any surveys for a month or so before because I was tired of getting kicked out after being close to completion and I was using the time to study Serbian.
A few days ago e-Rewards e-mailed me and offered 10 points (so $10 in funny money) if I completed 2 surveys in the next couple of days. I did and one was a lengthy Neilson survey (they did give me a realistic estimate of completion time) worth 40 points. Good for a decent Hilton award.
