I just stayed at the StR during the Formula One week two weeks back. It was my second stay there this year. The service was excellent in every way, and the staff was really good from the beginning. I used suite upgrades and had a massive room with a view of the front of the building.

It's quite noisy there, right in front of a busy city circle drive with constant traffic. Although the staff was wonderful, I must admit that the rooms are starting to appear worn. The suite showed a lot of wear and tear, making it look tired. The linens were perfect and the staff took excellent care of everything, but the physical condition of the room itself was deteriorating. Breakfast was included in my package, and I found it to be just satisfactory. While the service was exceptional, it didn't match up to the impressive breakfast spreads at W Hotels in Asia.

I'm sorry to say anything negative about the hotel, as the staff was excellent. However, I might consider trying a different property next time. The RC is literally just down the street, I'll probably try that next time for comparison.
