Problem Attaching Asiana (OZ) Frequent Flyer Number to Itinerary
Hi there,
I'm looking for some help to attach my Asiana (OZ) frequent flyer number to an existing itinerary with United (016 ticket). I booked my ticket through my MileagePlus account and remember including the OZ details during the booking process. After the ticket was issued, I saw that there was no frequent flyer information attached to the itinerary, so I tried to update the itinerary via my browser and the app, but with no success. I contacted United but they said the name on the itinerary didn't match the name on my frequent flyer number. This was odd because I had attached my OZ information to previous UA itineraries (also 016 tickets) and these had no issues. Nothing has changed on my end (my name or the frequent flyer program/number) since my other bookings. I've mentioned this fact to United, but United is now suggesting that I contact OZ.
I'm thinking there's something funny happening with UA IT, not OZ, but the agents I've contacted can't seem to help me. Wondering if the experts here have any thoughts on how I can get this resolved.
