Incorrectly showing on upgrade list?
Originally booked a W fare as a companion to GS so had a confirmed PP upgrade to Polaris.

GS was unable to travel so canceled flight. I decided to change to another travel date (11/12) flying into IAH. Used UA.com to rebook and planned to rebook into Prem Plus and waitlist for Polaris. However the cost to get into Prem Plus was an additional collect of $800 versus $1,600 to book directly into J.

Decided to book J to ensure I had upgrade - reservation shows I am booked into P class. However on the flight status on the app and on the website my name is showing as a confirmed upgrade into J.

Curious as to why it’s showing like this when I actually paid the fare difference to book directly into J. Any possible explanation?
