But more importantly, is silver really worth you doing a tier point run? I never understand why people would fly needlessly just to get a lounge access. You can save your cash and just book a business or first class flight when you want instead
I would argue there is a lot more benefit doing a TP run for a small number if TPs to get silver than there is for Gold. The difference between Bronze and Silver is fairly significant, seat selection when booking, lounge access (many of which are the same lounge as gold gets), seat blocking...
