It kept giving a message "Other customers are using the site" on the button to make a reservation. So I refreshed every minute and it never let me through. The button either said that other customers were using the site or No Reservations available. I tried back in 10 minutes, 30 minutes, an hour. Didn't ever change. Don't know if it's bots taking up the spots or some other reason. Fun times.
It's not bots, just limited seats for foreign accounts and first time customers. Omakase has different availability for each account depending on several factors. In Hashimoto's case half the seats are reserved for regulars.
