Am a little surprised about all the negative comments about this announcement.
The other thread, where we were speculating what UA would do for 2024, had all kinds of crazy suggestions, such as increase in PQP to 35000 for 1K, etc.

This announcement is pretty tame to what FTers seemed to be already mentally prepared for.
Agreed, about the best one could reasonable hoped for.
The credit card earnings seem to be more a simplification and aligning in structure to the other carriers. The net impact on earning status is very minimal IMO.
