Yes, to both of those, assuming this all happens on the day of your First departure. It's quite common for CCR members to pop out of the Room to go to Boots or other shops. It is more tricky to leave airside and to re-enter, if that's what you meant. And yes, the guest can appear any point while you are still in the Room.
