I was surprised by the 65% figure, as well as the full throated support for the product, I would have expected it to be 50% or so, but yes it's below the pre-pandemic figure which would have been 80% at its peak given at once stage all India and Canada routes had FIrst. But the introduction of 787-8 meant that the number was falling well before the pandemic. I think BA can get to the 65% figure on the basis of all the NYC services which almost always have First. The total number of First seats will be nearer 50% thanks to the 8 seat cabins.
