Thanks for the reply. But the issue is I have the miles in my account and if I use them for myself or anyone else I need to have the credit card in my name. I cannot use his credit card, they wont allow that.

Not sure why they won't issue an e-ticket in someone else's name though. There still seems to be some sort of disconnect between the Executive Club, reservations (the sort you talk to on the phone) and reservations (the sort you do on the web). I've had this kind of weirdness from AA as well and guess its just a lack of systems integration. I know there is still some garbage around the US EC only issuing paper award tickets.</font>
