Appalling, really embarrassing numbers. AC's OTP is lower and cancellation percentage is far higher than any other mainline carrier save Porter, which is a lot smaller. The most interesting comparison is to Alaska, which ran only about 10% more flights than AC but whose cancellation percentage was only an eighth of AC's and whose OTP was almost a fifth higher.

It's also interesting to see WestJet listed as an LCC. Aren't they a mainline carrier now? They've been partnering extensively with mainline carriers for over a decade. And wasn't that the idea behind setting up Swoop in the first place? To have a separate airline dedicated to catering to LCC customers because the parent carrier no longer was one?
