Ridiculous. I stayed there a few months ago and actually didn't even know I had canal view because I had to walk up a step or two to see the canal from the window. That's how high the window was and I'm not a midget. Trust me on this, it wasn't that spectacular. The hotel, in the other hand, was by far the best I've stayed in Europe.
I don't know where you stayed in Europe but just off the top of my head ph milan,ph paris absolutely destroy this hotel hell hyatt regency Duesseldorf is better then this
