It has been over 20 years since I have flown domestically in Australia and confused by the bag allowances. I am flying from PER to ADL. Trying to decide JetStar vs QF. On QF website, the bag allowance for JetStar is "up to 23 Kg" and for QF is "1 piece up to 23 kg".

Does this mean that with JetStar I can have multiple pieces of bags as long as the combined weight is less than 23 Kg?

Aslo flying the ADL to HBA on QF. There are 3 bags between the 2 of us. My AA receipt listed two free bags up to 23 kg. That's very generous if correct. How do I double check?
